| The Lose Weight Diet |
Review
Summary |
The Lose Weight Diet is said to be the “anti-fad” diet. The creators of this program claim it is: simple, safe, effective and free. The only requirement they impose on members is that they must desire to lose weight. According to the program website, it is not based on any gimmicks or tricks, but merely common sense, and will show dieters simple and healthy ways to promote weight loss.
We certainly agree that there are plenty of fad diets on the market that promote trendy products and crazy nutrition plans. We will take a closer look at the Lose Weight Diet to determine if it may be as beneficial as advertised and may support healthy weight loss.

 | Concept |
As mentioned, this diet is said to be based on common sense and facts - no gimmicks. The basic principle of this diet is to reduce daily caloric intake and make sure that the calories that are consumed are nutritionally sound and contain healthy sources of protein, carbs and fat.
The Lose Weight Diet is broken into three simple phases. There is the “learn how to lose weight” phase, the “create your weight loss diet plan” phase and the “continue losing weight and keep it off phase.”
 | Program In Depth |
Phase One is meant to explain to dieters how their bodies work and what is an effective way to lose weight. This phase puts a strong emphasis on calories. The website notes that if dieters burn more calories than they ingest, they will lose weight; if they ingest more calories than they burn, they will gain weight; and if they ingest the same calories as they burn, they will maintain weight. The maker of this programs stresses that dieters must be in a calorie deficit mode in order to lose weight, and they suggest that the most effective way to get in this mode is through a combination of diet and exercise.
As mentioned, the second phase is meant to instruct dieters on how to create their own weight loss nutrition plan. This phase begins with enabling dieters to determine their calorie maintenance level, and then instructs them to deduct 500 calories from this number; they will end up with their allowed daily caloric intake number. The next suggestion is to spread these calories out into 5 to 6 little meals a day in order to stimulate the metabolism.
The rest of the plan merely consists of explaining what proteins, fats and carbs should be regularly consumed, and then gives advice on how to maintain weight. This program does not actually set up a meal plan for you or offer specific exercises. Those who desire more detailed guidance concerning nutrition and exercise may prefer to look into other programs.

 | Website |
We find The Lose Weight Diet Website is well organized and quite easy to read through. The site is pretty basic, which is to be expected with a free service, and it offers very generic advice. The program knocks other diets that charge dieters for their service, but at least in these plans dieters may receive detailed meal plans and fitness regimens that offer the guidance often needed before starting a new venture. However, the advice offered in this plan appears to be pretty much common sense, as the creator notes, and may provide some dieters with enough information and motivation to start losing weight.
 | Positives |
• Program is free
• Website is posted online
 | Negatives |
• No testimonials are offered online at this time
• Provides very generic advice
• Does not supply in-depth fitness advice
• Does not provide in-depth nutrition plans
 | Final Thoughts |
Ultimately, we find The Lose Weight Diet is very basic and offers quite simple advice which most people probably already know. We believe dieters do not have to read through this program in order to find out that reducing caloric intake may lead to weight loss; what most dieters likely need is a detailed nutrition plan or specific advice on how to clean up their meals and nutrition plan. While the Lose Weight Diet does not offer detailed advice, it is free, and may provide support for some dieters.
Those interested in alternative options may prefer to research a supplement that contains an effective appetite suppressant. This may assist dieters in successfully reducing caloric intake and staying on track.
