SlimQuick uses 6 formula complexes: Cyclovite, a vitamin & mineral complex; Nutratherm, designed to increase thermogenesis and metabolic rate; Estrotim, a hormone-balancing complex; Cortifem, aimed to reduce levels stress-related hormones; Aquaplex, to reduce water retention; and Xtend, designed to improve nutrient absorption.

Included in these complexes are Green Tea Leaf Extract, Yerba Mate Extract, Clary Sage Extract, Cocoa Bean Extract, Dandelion Leaf & Root Extract, Horsetail Extract, Uva Ursi Extract, caffeine and soy isoflavones.

The vitamin and mineral complex includes Vitamins D, B-12 & B-6, folic acid, and calcium.

Nutratherm, the thermogenic complex, is the primary component of SlimQuick’s formula. It consists of Green Tea Leaf Extract, caffeine, Cocoa Bean Extract, Yerba Mate Extract and Clary Sage Extract. All of these extracts are believed to help stimulate the metabolism, promoting the rate of fat breakdown.

The vitamins and minerals contained (Vitamin D, calcium, folic acid, and vitamins B-6 and B-12) support the female metabolism. These are found in most multi-vitamins designed for women

The hormone-balancing complex contains soy isoflavones and Vitex Agnus-Castus, an herb often used to treat menstrual problems and may ease symptoms related to PMS.

The stress-reducing complex contains beta-sitosterol, theanine, Rhodiola rosea extract and phosphatidylserine, all believed individually to lower stress levels.

The water-removal complex includes Dandelion Leaf & Root Extract, often used as a diuretic Horsetail Extract, high in silica, helps calcium absorption, Uva Ursi Extract, believed to support the urinary tract and stimulate the kidneys & bladder, and French Maritime Pine Extract, an antioxidant believed to also have anti-inflammatory properties.

The absorption and time release complex contains piper nigum, or black pepper, and cellulose ethers.

The name alone, SlimQuick, implies fast results, and may appeal to those want to see results without much effort. While the complexes seem to complement one another, working together to support all systems, substances affecting hormone levels may cause varying results in different individuals; use of this product should be discussed with a health care professional.

We realize that optimal weight can be achieved primarily through a well-balanced diet and regular exercise, and like that this fact is emphasized in the product’s marketing tactic. It does not promise to be a miracle pill, as fat will not be lost from using simply a supplement.

SlimQuick post claims of seeing big results after 8 weeks of use. Any product advertising rapid weight loss can be very tempting for consumers but the problem with losing large amounts of weight quickly is that it almost never stays off – within months, you could find yourself purchasing more fat burners because your body never really adjusted to the metabolism changes, nor did you adjust to a healthy diet and consistent exercise program.

We like that the product promotes exercise and a healthy diet, but the testimonials of women losing 34 and 35 pounds in two months seems a little extreme, and leaves us wondering why our country is still so overweight if this works as well as it claims to. A follow-up picture 6 months or a year later may make the claims more believable.
