* Propolene™ does not contain the wildly popular ingredient Hoodia. Propolene™ contains – Propol™, which is simply the company's trademarked name for glucomannan, is made from the root of Amorphophallus Konjac, an herbal supplement that is said to contribute to weight loss by delaying the absorption of glucose from the intestines. It is also called bulk or roughage, this diuretic substance helps with digestion by keeping stool soft so that it can move smoothly through the colon. It may also expand in stomach. More studies are still needed to determine if this fiber alone is truly beneficial for weight management. No scientific evidence, we have found, proves the claims.

Most supplements containing, Glucomannan do not additionally contain the active ingredient Advantra-Z®, a fat burner.

We did find a customer service number after all. We were curious if the company had any additional testimonials. We were able to contact the manufacturer and found their representatives to be somewhat helpful. We asked how long they had been in business, they in turn asked a supervisor, and then were told a few years.

We appreciater retailers who post this kind of information especially considering the product does not contain an active fat burner.

Be advised, there are no major side effects associated with, the products main ingredient. The key ingredient, glucomannan is essentially dietary fiber, as in a “simple fiber”. The ingredient, even if worked as advertised, would not address the issue of existing body fat. To be fair, the product itself was not designed as an immediate and complete formulation as it does not contain Hoodia. In our findings glucomannan fiber, is not as proven as effective as Hoodia for appetite suppression.

Propolene™ products are commonly sold at discount stores. The website, however, offers what seems to be the need to purchase additional formulas in a pursuit for weight management. An approach of balancing nutrition is fine, but seriously eliminating existing fat is another issue. Propolene™ does not contain a patented fat burner. In the end, this product seems like nothing more than an ordinary general health based option.
