Metabo Extreme contains the following ingredients: Guarana, Bee Pollen, Ginseng, Lecithin, Sarsaparilla, Golden Seal, Nettles, Gotu Kola and Gymnema Sylvestre; as well as other outlined on the website.

This website says that this product “is well researched with a 98% success rate”. However, we cannot really understand how it can be an effective weight loss agent given the ingredients used in its formulary. Metabo Extreme does use some ingredients which are energizers by nature, such as Ginseng; which is an adapatogen. It may work to enhance and energize all the system of the body somewhat; although it has not been proven to generate weight loss directly.

Sarsaparilla has a history as being a “blood tonifier” and a sweat promoter; as well as a treatment for sexually transmitted diseases; although once again it has not been used traditionally to aid in weight loss. Nettles are also used again as a “tonifier”, and have been studied as a treatment for congestive heart failure; and yet again it has not been conventionally used to induce weight loss.

In general, this formula may help promote overall health due to its use of Ginseng, Nettles and Sarsaparilla; although they are not proven weight loss agents. The ingredients used in this formula are nowhere near being in the same league as other holistic weight loss agents, such as Hoodia or Advantra-Z.

This retailer’s website is rather odd in its presentation of the facts about Metabo Extreme. It is rather difficult to read and makes it a chore to sort through the ingredients and their use in the body. We would have liked to have seen this product presented in a more comprehensive manner, consumers have a right to be able to access all information available – easily.

That said, we were glad to see testimonials posted, however, here too, the same problem existed. It was extremely difficult to read them. Websites that promote the most successful weight loss products will usually present them in the best light possible and present lush and comprehensive testimonial sections, which are easy to review.

As mentioned above, Metabo Extreme may have some healthful benefits because it does use some well-known herbs, although we clearly do not believe it will have any affect on generating actual weight loss. It does not use any effective appetite suppressants or thermogenic agents; which are known to be able to generate weight loss.

Advantra-Z is a fat burner which many consumers seek out on their own, because they know what we know, that it is one of the best thermogenic agents available. Many manufacturers use it as a substitute for Ephedra, because it has all its metabolism boosting and fat burning abilities, without its side effects. Its also works really well with Hoodia, an efficient and effective appetite suppressant, which has been used to significantly reduce caloric intake in users, a necessity for optimal weight loss.
