In order for the consumer to begin to design their specific program they must first purchase the program. This is a program that is catered to individuals to work off-line and within the privacy of their own home; however, the consumer can converse with representatives through email or by phone.

The Fit For Life® website offers only an overview of what the system does, when followed properly. Testimonials cover most of the site, and they even supply a link to see how this system has affected other clients. However, in order to receive any additional information about the program, they ask that you call their hotline. We called the hotline, but we were asked to leave a message.

The website offers no research to support its weight loss theory and relies heavily on the testimonials and pictures of past clients’ to prove the effectiveness of the program. There are many other weight loss and dietary websites that provide more information to potential customers.

Furthermore, this website does not provide an example of how their program works. There are no pre-mapped out plans to show prospective customers what the program looks like. The information provided on the program gives the public a general understanding of what the system offers, by way of stating that they will discover the right foods for your body type and what foods stay away from. Also advertised is an exercise program offered in the system. We feel that customers should be able to research more about the company’s product in order to create a better understanding of the product before committing to buy. We believe this offers a sense of faith in the results that the product is promoting.

In the end we feel the Fit for Life® website does not provide enough information to show why this program is favorable over other programs. It states how a specifically designed eating plan may result in tremendous weight loss and a new way to view food from here on out, however there are no examples of the how the program actually “works”. We are also concerned that the cost is not provided immediately, and that in order to receive additional information you must call a hotline that does not always answer.

In conclusion, we feel that although this program states how it aids in weight loss through changing your diet and creating an exercise regime to suit our body type, the lack of information to explain how the program works specifically is a challenge. For the customer who can not commit completely, should try partnering a healthy diet and exercise with weight loss supplements.
