Summary |
Cellulean was developed by Chong’s health Care Enterprise, Inc, a company that markets a variety of supplements, some of which are based in Chinese medicine while others are clearly not. Dr. Chong is the driving force behind this website, which indicates that he is the director of the Red Cross Hospital in Beijing.
Cellulean is advertised to be developed to take on the Bain of many women’s weight loss regime – cellulite, a fat that has a cottage cheese like appearance, which is often found on the stomach, thighs and butt; which many women believe is a different kind of “fat”, a belief that many manufacturers also support. There are many products on the market which promise to alleviate this often distressing and frustrating issue. Can Cellulean produce results? We will meticulously review this products formulary and the concepts used to develop it to see if it can deliver results.

 | Ingredients at a Glance |
|
The main ingredient in Cellulean is Aminophylline, an ingredient which was not originally designed to address cellulite. In fact it is a prescription bronchodilator which is used to open the passageways of the lungs by those who have asthma and other lung ailments.

 | Ingredients in Focus |
|
Aminophylline, as mentioned above is an asthma medication; however, in 1995 it gained some fame outside this arena because of a study which suggested that it was a viable method of reducing fat and cellulite in users, when used topically. For this reason it began to pop up in many cellulite creams such as Cellulean. However, this concept had its 15 minutes of fame and then fell from grace, when it was revealed that one of the researchers involved in the study was selling a cream for cellulite that contained Aminophylline, which was clearly a conflict of interest that tainted the study.
Other studies were conducted by curious researchers to see if Aminophylline could impact cellulite or fat in users when applied topically. The results did not bode well for Aminophylline. These studies concluded that this ingredient had no real affect on the appearance of fat or an ability to reduce fat in users. Nevertheless, some manufacturers still persist in using it in their formulas.

 | Diet Lifestyle |
|
Many manufacturers claim that cellulite is a different type of fat, however, the truth is fat is fat, no matter what you choose to call it. The best “cure” for weight gain is a good weight loss plan which includes a healthy diet and a moderate exercise plan, which has been proven to be able to help consumers achieve sustainable long term weight loss. Many consumers have also augmented their weight loss by using a capsule based holistic weight loss product, which contains an appetite suppressant such as Hoodia.
The website makes some impressive claims about this product’s abilities, indicating that “Cellulean Shrinks Fat and Cellulite Up to 2 Inches”. However, they do not provide consumers with any research to verify these statements, nor are there any testimonials posted by customers who have used this product and achieved these promised results.

 | Final Thoughts |
|
We doubt that Cellulean will have any direct ability to reduce fat in users, although we understand why a topical treatment such as this one would be appealing for some. However, very often when product’s, such as Cellulean, makes claims that seem “too good to be true” they more than likely are. Nevertheless, regardless of the hype around cellulite, which indicates that it is different from regular fat, it is in reality just fat; which many consumers have addressed successfully through holistically based supplementation.
For instance, Hoodia has been shown to be able to aid consumers in managing their hunger, in a way that does not leave them feeling deprived, because it can trick the brain into believing the stomach is full, thereby alivating a common dieting pitfall. Hoodia also works really well with Advantra Z, a results oriented and safe thermogenic agent which has been shown to expedite weight loss through boosting metabolism and fat burning ability.
