Body Wraps come in a variety of kits sold on the bodywraps.com website. There are many American and European versions to choose from. Each kit comes with a version of the following items: container of SEA Clay Six, cotton-elastic wraps, a vinyl sauna suit and application instructions. You can also buy a video for an additional cost. The kits come with instructions, which in essence describe the process by which you soak the wraps in a solution, wrap your body up in the wraps and put on the sauna suit.
This product, Body Wraps, operates on the water reduction theory of weight loss; water may be lost because of the heat generated by the wraps and the sauna suit. We believe the effects of these products are usually not long lasting, if they work at all, and will evaporate shortly after the wraps are removed or when you drink a glass of water. In general, these types of products advertise that body wraps have certain benefits, such as weight loss and fat-reduction, but no medical research is provided indicating that body wraps really work for weight or fat loss.
